How to Use PolyBuzz: Setup to First Chat
From signup to your first AI chat in minutes — how to install PolyBuzz, create an account, browse characters, and build your own.
Getting started with PolyBuzz takes about two minutes. Here's the whole flow.
1. Get the app (or use the web)
Download from the official download page — App Store, Google Play, or just open polybuzz.ai in your browser. The web version needs no install and works on desktop.
2. Sign up
Register with your Google account, Apple ID, or email address. You'll need to confirm you're 18 or older — PolyBuzz requires it in its terms, worldwide.
3. Browse characters
After signing in, you'll see the character library. Browse by tags (there are 100+, from CEO to Vampire to Romantic Adventure) or search for something specific. Tap any character to start chatting instantly.
4. Create your own (optional)
Tap the + button on mobile or "Create Character" on web. Fill in the name, avatar, personality, background story, and speaking style, then start talking to your creation. Keep it private or publish it for the community.
Tips that actually help
- Be specific in your first message. Setting the scene ("you're a detective in 1940s Chicago...") gets far better replies than "hi."
- Regenerate freely. If a reply is off, regenerate it — this is also what coins pay for, so use free regens first.
- Manage long stories. Memory is limited, so for long-running roleplays, occasionally summarize key plot points in-chat to keep the character on track.
- Try voice. Listening to replies changes the feel completely — check the features guide for how voice works.
